Tunnel 7 Releases Two New Websites
15 May 2008 — Tunnel 7 has been rather busy lately and now is a good time to show you what has been in work. Here are two projects that have recently been completed.
USEHAZUS
USEHAZUS serves as a resource for disaster mitigation planners nationwide. Tunnel 7 established a strong information architecture for the website to allow for future growth and designed every aspect of the website from defining page layouts to selecting the color scheme to creating a logo. Analysis was important to the project so Google Analytics was implemented to track visitor traffic.

Berkshire-Pioneer RC&D Connects With Agricultural Producers
15 Jan 2008 — As a non-profit organization, Berkshire-Pioneer RC&D helps citizens stimulate economic opportunities, conserve natural resources and improve the general quality of life in rural areas. The new website helps the organization meet these goals by connecting agricultural producers to information about current programs, providing details about the organization itself and giving users the ability to apply for programs online.
Working closely with the organization, Tunnel 7 launched the new website within a compressed timeline and also met the low-bandwith requirements of the project (many users reside in areas where broadband connections are unavailable). Databases were created to collect data from online questionnaires and applications, and a phased approach for further development of the website is currently underway.
